Friday at the American Legion Golf Course was the United Way Golf tournament.  There were over 140 golfers participating and 36 total teams.  Here is Kendra Sorenson, Executive Director of the Marshalltown Area United Way

Gary Schaudt has been the main sponsor for the tournament for 7 years in a row.  He was out playing on the course when I was able to catch up with him.

After the golfing finished up, the players wall gathered in the lower level of the American Legion Lounge and had a meal and socialized.  The food was sponsored by JBS for the players post round so all the proceeds could go to the 34 programs 28 agencies.
