There is a new section of State St. that is closed off to drivers as the road construction continues this summer. Heather Thomas, Marshalltown Public Works Director, lets us know what stage are we at.
Heather goes on to tell listeners where stage 1 is at, which is the initial part of State Street that was shut down. 3rd. Ave to 1st Ave.
Be aware when driving around downtown that State St now has a 5 to 6 blocks closed and you will need to find an alternative route in the meantime.
