TODAY is the last day you are able to drive past the new automated speed cameras without them issuing a ticket. The 30 day warning period will end tomorrow June 22nd. During this 30-day warning period the 2 cameras have issued 1,871 tickets with over 1,200 of them coming from the Lincoln Way road and over 600 from Governor Road. Reminder, the automated cameras are set up to catch people driving into town on Lincoln Way just before the Lincoln Towers and over on Governor Road they are set up to catch people going both ways between Olive and Southridge roads.
