The 4th of July is coming up quickly and there will be a celebration in Marshalltown with a firework show! On the 4th of July the Central Iowa Fairgrounds will be home to all the different festivities.
That is Louisa Ortega, who is part of the planning team for the celebration. The goal to fundraise for the firework show is $18,000 but Louisa is trying to get a little bit more to bring in other activities
The event is free for anyone to attend on the 4th of July! If you or your business would like to support the local celebration you can reach out to Louisa or stop in to the Central Business District or Chamber of Commerce and they can help with donations.
