The Marshalltown Parks plan called for updates to Peterson and Kiwanis Parks this calendar year.  Geoff Hubbard is the Marshalltown Parks and Recreation Director, and he stops by the KFJB line to give listeners an update to Kiwanis Park.

Geoff said that there isn’t a full-size soccer field at any park currently in Marshalltown.  Beyond the additional equipment for new fields and courts, there are other structures being updated at Kiwanis Park.

Geoff mentions that the only other place he is aware of in Iowa that has the foot volleyball courts is in Burlington.
