Lifeserve Blood Center will be partnering with KFJB to hold a blood drive later this month.  Danielle West, Director of PR and Marketing with Lifeserve Blood Center, tells listeners what make summer different for blood supply.

West goes into detail about the blood drive coming up in Marshalltown in the middle of July

People are encouraged to make an appointment ahead of time, but they do take walk ins.  West tells listeners that a normal donation takes about 45 minutes, so just enough time to head there over your lunch hour.  You can find the blood drive on liveservebloodcenter.org under their upcoming events.
