The Marshalltown YMCA-YWCA closes down annually to do some cleaning.  They clean the entire building and all of their equipment.  Kim Jass-Ramirez, CEO of the local Y, tells listeners when they will be closed down.

This also allows staff to get to a few other projects that couldn’t happen with the YMCA being open.  There are some larger projects that will take longer than the 4 days.

Kim reminds people to check out the YMCA-YWCA’s website for any up coming activities.  Yoga outside on the Y lawn is happening every Friday at 9am open and free for anyone to attend.
