The Marshalltown Police Department is focused on community relations and it can be seen through different events they host and partner with, as well as some of their programs like MPACT.  The MPD has made this a top priority throughout the department.

That is Marshalltown Police Chief Mike Tupper, he mentions that later in the year the department will go through some strategic planning.

The Citizens Academy that is offered once a year through the Police Department gives citizens an opportunity to see life through a Police Officers eye and has been a great bridge to build community relations in Marshalltown.
