Calvin Rockett is now under new ownership! As of August 1st, Grant and Anna Mattox sold the restaurant to Garrett Goodman, the owner of the Flying Elbow. According to a Facebook post on the Calvin Rockett page made by Goodman, there is NO plans to move the Flying Elbow to the Rockett location. The Flying Elbow will be its own thing and stay on 13th Street. The Flying Elbow menu will not move to Rockett either. While Goodman doesn’t say exactly what the next plans are, he mentions a smaller menu for now until they hone in quality and service on new items. The first thing Goodman did was repaint inside so right now, there are only TVs on the walls. Keep an eye on Calvin Rockett for what’s coming next!
