Down at the Iowa State Fair, Marshall County sent 28 different non-livestock exhibitors.  Of the 28 exhibits, 23 received blue ribbons, which is the highest ribbon that can be earned.

That is Elizabeth Venneman, the County Youth Coordinator for the ISU Extension office in Marshall County.  There were 79 total livestock exhibits from Marshall County

Venneman tells listeners that those exhibits have not been judged or finalized.  She does feel that a lot of blue and purple ribbons will be coming back to Marshall County.
