The idea of renaming the new Welcome Center for the Marshalltown Community School district was voted on last night.  The school board was voting to rename the Welcome Center to B.A. Niblock MCSD Orpheum Welcome Center

That is Superintendent of Marshalltown Schools, Dr. Theron Schutte.  He says the naming is for 2 reasons

The other reason is her significant financial contribution to the Welcome Center start up costs and help with seniors post-secondary pursuits.  The renaming was unanimously approved.
