There are some events happening out at the 13^th Street District in early September.  The Classic Car Cruise on September 7th and the Harvest Market on September 8th.  Heather Thomas, Marshalltown Public Works Director, tells listeners about the sidewalk updates out there.

The city will be finishing up the sidewalks in the 13^th Street District by replacing 2 of the handicap detectable warning panels, or the bumps at the end of the sidewalks. Thomas then gives an update about State St. from 1^st Ave to 3^rd Ave

Thomas is hoping that the 3^rd street intersection, part of stage 2, will be reopened in September.
