School has started and now fall is quickly approaching, and this fall will have a school board election. The Marshalltown school board is all at-large seats, so anyone who lives in the school district is able to run for any seat. Randy Denham, Director of Business Operations and Board Secretary, tells listeners how to get your name on the ballot.
All forms are due to Randy by 5pm on September 21st. There are 4 open seats on the board this election cycle. The other important date is the withdraw period.
