State Street construction has been happening most of the summer, but we have been able to visually see some steps being completed recently.  Heather Thomas Public Works Director in Marshalltown, gives KFJB listeners an update.

Thomas mentions that the sidewalks are smaller pours and the slopes are a bit more challenging leading into some businesses and keeping it to ADA standards.  Thomas and her team are not just thinking about the streets

From the concrete to the soil, the State Street construction is moving forward and inching closer to completion.
