Marshalltown Police Chief, Mike Tupper, was able to stop in the KFJB studio this week to talk about traffic, specifically traffic around the schools.
Kids have a tendency to not look both ways before crossing the road, with cars parked on the side of the road that makes it even more challenging to see kids walking around.
Kids are easily distracted, whether they are seeing a friend across the street or not using the cross walk to cross the street. Drivers need to be vigilant when in the school zones.
