Iowa Valley Community College District Board of Directors held a special meeting on Wednesday and offered the president position to Anne Howsare Boyens. Howsare Boyens was excited to accept the position.  Howsare Boyens was previously the provost for the Des Moines Area Community College.  Dr. Kristie Fisher, the current president, is not quite done yet, her last day will be October 20^th, at that point she will be heading to Kirkwood Community College to be the president.  There is no official start date for Howsare Boyens as the job was just accepted last night.
