Recently there has been a big call to drivers to slow down and watch out for slow moving farm vehicles.  Recently Sheriff Joel Phillips mentions how most farm equipment takes up more space and needs more space to maneuver.  Marshall County Supervisor and former farmer, Carol Hibbs, mentions how everyone needs to be practicing patience.

Steve Salasek, another Marshall County Supervisor, mentions how fast farm vehicles move.

The SMU sign is the slow moving vehicle sign, or orange triangle on the back of vehicles.  Be aware of combines, semis, and other tractors out on our highways this fall as harvest begins.
