An annual event that happens at the Marshalltown Public Library calls on individuals to lean into their creative side. The Altered Book Event is where the library takes old, unusable books, and asks people to create an art project out of them.
That is Library Director Sarah Rosenbloom. She mentions that the library has books set aside that people can stop in and get. Books need to be returned to the library on October 24th for a display for the public on October 25th.
