From the beginning of the Speed Camera conversation there has always been talk of 3 cameras, 2 set locations and a mobile unit.  The mobile unit was supposed to arrive over the summer, according to Chief Tupper, as of yesterday that mobile unit has not arrived.

Chief Tupper reminds listeners that the mobile unit was approved by the city council along with the 2 fixed units.

The chief mentions that they want to be transparent about where the camera is, as ultimately his goal is to get people to slow down.  Chief Tupper also reports that the set cameras on Lincoln Way and Governor Road are writing less tickets than they did initially.
