Marshalltown Fire Chief Dave Rierson, suggests people who own homes to inspect their furnace before winter truly sets in. Not only do you need to change that filter, but having your furnace inspected by a professional could prevent further damages.
Carbon Monoxide could also build up in the flumes leaving the house. Whether that’s through the chimney or its own flume. Animals and other debris can build up and cause Carbon Monoxide to be trapped in the house.
Double check that furnace to make sure it is in good working order before the cold of winter sets in. Winter is coming, whether we want it to or not.
