Over the summer KFJB had a conversation with Linda Havelka, Executive Director for CAPS, Child Abuse Prevention Services, and she said CAPS will be having a name change as they do much more than Child Abuse Prevention.

The community will still be able to refer to the organization as CAPS keeping the rebrand fairly simple.  It is happening soon

The open house will be an opportunity for people to see the CAPS offices.  They will have some refreshments available for people to much on while learning more about what CAPS does in our community.
