Last night the Marshalltown Bobcat Girls Divers competed in Ames at the Regional Diving Meet. Abby Tollefson and Kate Hauser punched their ticket to the State Diving meet next weekend. Tollefson secured her spot easily by winning the meet last night with a total score of 556.35 in the 11-Dive event. Hauser secured an at-large bid and earned 2nd place last night with a score of 414.50. That was a new personal best for Hauser. Both will compete next Friday at the state Competition that takes place at the Marshalltown YMCA in the Linda Bloom Natatorium.
Tomorrow the Marshalltown Bobcat Girl’s swim team will compete at the Regional swim meet. This is the meet where the Girl’s are trying to make the State competition next weekend. The meet starts at noon tomorrow over in Ames.
