The Animal Rescue league of Marshalltown recently hired a new Executive Director, Austin Gillis.  Gillis and his wife own a small acreage in Marshall County and they have a variety of animals from dogs to chickens.  He talks about how he got into helping animals.

Gillis started with the Animal Rescue League of Marshalltown at the beginning of the month.  He mentions one thing he has heard in the community that is not true.
