The Marshalltown Area United Way continues to move along in their annual campaign. They have a goal this year to raise $825,000. Here is executive director for the Marshalltown Area United Way, Kendra Sorenson, giving an update.
With only 5 weeks left to go, Sorenson is leaning on her crazy ideas to keep the campaign moving. Sorenson mentions the jail and bail competition, the Police Chief, Fire Chief, and Sheriff were all arrested last week.
The Sheriffs Office almost raised $1,000. You can learn more about the United Way and the 32 programs they support in Marshall County at unitedwaymarshalltown.org
