With the holiday season in full swing after black Friday and small business Saturday, scams are back.  Many different types of scams try to target the elderly who may get confused while on the phone or via email.

That is Marshalltown Police Chief, Mike Tupper.  It is important to have a plan if someone in your family IS in trouble.  How can we confirm as a family?  Or if an email offer seems too good to be true, it is probably fake.

Be aware of scams happening during the holiday season via phone or email.  Respond to phone numbers and emails that you recognize.
