The partnership between the Iowa Wild and MARSHALLTOWN Company is bringing a community Ice Rink to downtown Marshalltown started when some MARSHALLTOWN employees were at an Iowa Wild game.

That is Zach Stahlin, Director of Product Solutions and Customer Success with Marshalltown Company.  He says the rink is being put in at the corner of Center Street and Main Street in Marshalltown.  Stahlin says this truly was a community project.

Stahlin says that MARSHALLTOWN Company will be donating some skates to the Marshalltown Park and Rec department for people to be able to rent out and use on the Ice Rink once the ice sets in.
