Coming in just a short few weeks will be holiday break for many school children.  The Marshalltown Park and Recreation department is offering their Winter Blast program again this holiday break.  Jennifer Hart, Recreation Supervisor with the City of Marshalltown, tells KFJB listeners about some of the activities Winter Blast will do.

Winter Blast is a similar program to their summer blast, it just takes place over the few days of holiday break.

The cost to attend winter blast is $30 per day, the children will get snacks throughout the day but they will need to pack a sack lunch.
