Each Wednesday during the Marshalltown Area United Way campaign, Executive Director Kendra Sorenson joined the KFJB line for Ask the Newsmakers. Sorenson gave an update yesterday, and the United Way made a huge jump.
The United Way Cabinet met yesterday over the lunch hour and Sorenson shared that the United Way collected more money and jumped up to 95%, roughly $782,000! She explains why this jump happened so late.
