Tuesday Night the Marshalltown Area United Way held their Year-End Celebration!  Kendra Sorenson, Executive Director for the Marshalltown Area United Way, highlighted the great events all year and all the volunteers who helped.  Sorenson joined the KFJB line for Ask the Newsmakers yesterday to give an update.

Sorenson is watching that total closely because Co-Chair Kyle Martin said he would run down Main Street in a speedo if the United Way makes goal.

The United Way supports 32 programs and 28 agencies in Marshall County.  Sorenson has said recently that the $825,000 goal is what it takes to sustain the programs, which is why it is critical to hit goal.
