Winter brings snow to Iowa, as well as sickness.  Whether that is RSV, the flu, or COVID, sickness is spreading across our communities.  Dr. Collette Lothe, Pediatrician with McFarland Clinic, talks about how our children in school can minimize spreading any sickness.

Dr. Lothe mentions that during the pandemic, students were encouraged to bring their own water bottle.  That helped cut down spreading any germs and it kept the students better hydrated.

When it comes to taking care of ourselves and our children Dr. Lothe mentions a few big things, getting enough sleep, healthy diet, drinking water, and listening to our bodies.  When we feel sick, we should listen and take care of ourselves.
