MPACT just finished the 3rd year of the program and it has been a great program for the Marshalltown Police Department. MPACT, or Marshalltown Police and Community Team, and this program allows social workers to also responded if the situation calls for it. Lt. Sadie Weekly joined KFJB this week to talk about how MPACT has helped her and her team.
David Hicks, Director for YSS in Marshall County, talks about how the social workers give officers more time, Lt. Weekly is confirming just that. Lt. Weekly says new officers are all in.
