We have heard from the Iowa DOT about the roadways across the state, but yesterday KFJB was able to catch up with Marshall County Engineer, Paul Geilenfeldt.
Geilenfeldt says that Sunday was the first day they were able to get the roads opened up and stayed open. He says the team was working hard and overtime during the storms last week.
The snow plow drivers in Marshall County have worked hard to get the roads as open as they are today. The wind was a factor even after the storm, which made it challenging in our rural areas.
