In 2022, there was a winter storm right around Christmas that caused many people to stay in and the Salvation Army ended up short on their red kettle goal at the end of the year.  This winter, we didn’t get a big storm until January.  John Hofer, Envoy at the Marshalltown Salvation Army, checks in to tell us how their red kettles did in 2023.

While the red kettles did not quite make it to goal, Envoy Hofer was able to share some good news about end of the year giving.

Envoy Hofer says they will be able to have a full calendar of events for their youth programing this year.  They will also be able to help more people this calendar year with financial assistance.
