Last night at the Marshalltown City Council Meeting, the council approved a contract for the design for the trail head and bridge project in Linn Creek district.  Geoff Hubbard, Marshalltown Park and Recreation Director, talks about why they chose Snyder and Associates.

This project is also part of the Destination Iowa Grant, the trail head, bridge, and water plaza projects are all partially funded by the Destination Iowa Grant.  With that grant, there is some private donations needed.  John Hall, CEO and President of the Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce also spoke on this project last night.

The council voted 4 – 3 in favor of this project and having Snyder and Associates design the trailhead and bridge project.
