According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s office, a threat was made towards BCLUW school on Thursday, January 25th. The Sheriffs Office began an investigation immediately and when students arrived to school the next day the deputies provided extra security. Deputies also spent the day interviewing students and as a result of the investigation a 17-year-old from Conrad has been arrested. The juvenile was booked into the Grundy County Jail and transferred to the juvenile detention center where the individual remains in custody. The juvenile was charged with Threats of Terrorism which is a class D felony. This case remains under investigation.
