This is the time of year that parents are working to fill up those summer calendars for their children. The Marshalltown Salvation Army has some opportunities coming up this summer for children. They have a summer camp in south Souix City, Nebraska called, Western Plains Camp.
That is Envoy of the salvation Army in Marshalltown, John Hofer. Hofer mentions they do have opportunities for full week camp as well, 6 days 5 nights. He mentions some of the camps have a fun twist or topic.
There are also some tent camping experiences in the Black Hills of South Dakota as well. To learn more about these opportunities you can visit the Salvation Army in downtown Marshalltown. Registration will open on March 15th.
