The Marshalltown Police Department announced over the weekend the arrest of local teacher Paul Philip Miller. Miller was arrested on February 17th for an alleged assault causing bodily injury. The investigation started on February 13th when an assault allegation was shared by a student that occurred at Miller Middle School on February 12th. A 13-year-old, male student reported he had been assaulted by his teacher while in class. Mr. Miller has posted bond and has since been released.
