On Thursday last week, the Grundy County Sheriff’s office executed narcotics search warrant at 26107 Nickle Ave. in Grundy Center.  The sheriff deputies found 2 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, over $8,000 in cash, and a Rock River AR 15.  The sheriff deputies then arrested 20-year-old Carter Evan Jacobsen, of Grundy Center.  Jacobsen was charged with 2 counts of delivery or possession with the intent to deliver, 2 counts of possession of marijuana, failure of affix a Drug Tax Stamp, 3 counts of possession of a prescription drug, 1 counts of possession with the intent to deliver phencyclidine mushroom, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jacobsen was booked into the Grundy County Jail and later had his initial appearance where his bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety. Jacobsen later posted bond and was released from jail.
