Last night at the Marshalltown Community School Board meeting, High School Principal Jacque Wyant, requested the addition of 2.5 full time teachers.  The first one would be related to music, another full time Family and Consumer Science teacher, and a half time Agriculture teacher.  Wyant first mentions how busy the Band Directors are.

The High School band directors are traveling to Miller Middle school each day to support the music department there.  Wyant is asking to hire another full time music director.

Wyant also talks about how more students have registered for agriculture classes this year, about double from last school year.  The FFA club has also grown in recent years.
