YSS and the Marshalltown Police Department teamed up for MPACT, Marshalltown Police and Community Team. They help respond to calls that are mental health related and trying to deal with issues in our community with connecting people to the support systems in place. YSS is holding an Evening with MPACT on April 17th.
That’s David Hicks, YSS Executive Director in Marshall County. He said this event is taking place April 17th from 5:30 – 7:30 at Tannin Wine Bar. The program will start at 6pm and he encourages everyone to be there for the program and to ask questions.
This event is open to anyone in the public, it is a great way to connect with our police department as well. Chief Tupper and his team enjoy talking and interacting with the public.
