Friday is the final day for individuals to put their name in the hat for different county positions.  One position up for election is a County Supervisor spot that is currently filled by Steve Salasek.  Salasek has been a Marshall County Supervisor since he won the election in 2016.  KFJB asked Salasek on Open Forum if he plans to run for re-election again.

Salasek says that he is ready to spend some time with family and truly enjoy retirement.  Jaret Heil, Marshall County Supervisor Chairman, talks about getting filed to run for an open position.

This primary election will be the first Tuesday in June, then the general election will come the first Tuesday in November.
