KFJB listeners heard from Scott Turner after the Marshalltown Mall owners, Kohen Retail Investment Group, stopped paying their electric bill causing the electricity to be turned off.  Turner, the owner of Game Haven, knew a change was needed and found a new location 204 S 1st Ave.  This location would work great because it is bigger than the spot at the mall, allowing Game Haven to expand a bit and host larger tournaments in the future.  This past weekend, Turner and the Game Haven crew, made the call to the public for help moving.  When Turner found the new location, he needed a few months to prepare before moving all their equipment stating that they would need help eventually.  Game Haven made a post on Facebook thanking everyone who showed up this weekend to help with their move.  Game Haven says about 50 people in total helped with their move and even though everything isn’t ready, they will be open today in their new spot.  There isn’t a sign up yet, so good luck finding it, but one is coming soon.
