Last night a lot of the high school sporting events were cancelled or postponed. Starting with the Bobcat tennis teams, Boys tennis had a match against Des Moines East. That match has been postponed to April 22nd, the Bobcats will still travel to Des Moines East that afternoon.
The Bobcat Girls tennis team had a match against Des Moines East as well. That was postponed to May 2nd and will still be played at the Marshalltown High School Tennis Complex.
Girls golf had a round scheduled up in Fort Dodge against the Dodgers. That round was canceled yesterday, no make up date posted yet. Girls Track was cancelled yesterday and also does not have a make up date posted yet.
The Bobcat soccer teams were able to battle the weather last night. In an exciting 2nd half and high scoring game, the Boys Bobcat soccer team falls to Des Moines North Polar Bears 5 – 4. The soccer team will be back in action on Friday when they face off against Fort Dodge. This game will be aired on KFJB-TV
The Bobcat Girls soccer team traveled to Mediacom stadium in Des Moines to take on the Polar Bears. The girls get the victory 3 – 2 and improve to 3 – 1 on the season.
