Last Monday at the Marshalltown City Council meeting there was a discussion about starting a Food Truck Park in Marshalltown.  Deb Millizer, Executive Director of the Marshalltown Central Business District, is trying this idea out and wants to use the Farmers Market area.

With that study in mind, Millizer suggested having food trucks open up in downtown Marshalltown on those days.  Bringing more variety to the downtown area.  She mentions where they are going to first try this idea out.

As City Councilor Barry Kell said on Monday last week, this is just a trial and it will cost the city nothing to try it out. Check out the food truck park coming to downtown Marshalltown soon.
