Recently the Iowa Commandant, Todd Jacobus, stopped by the KFJB studio to let us know how the Department of Veteran Affairs is doing.  Jacobus talks about how he has made a decision on where his office will be.

Jacobus thinks it just makes sense to have his office in Marshalltown.  He feels that he can handle all responsibilities right here.

About 1 year after the realignment of state government, Jacobus says he enjoys having a 1 stop shop for veterans in Iowa.

Jacobus feels he has a great team around him from Federal, to the state, to the county.
