Coming up in May, on Saturday, May 18th, will be household hazardous waste drop off at the water pollution control plant. This will be happening in tandem with another junk drop off day. Heather Thomas, Marshalltown Public Works Director, explains what can be dropped off.
While that is happening on the northside of town, the junk drop off will be happening at Riverview Park.
Then from 8 – 4pm on May 18th the compost facility in Marshalltown will be open for free drop off all day.
