The undefeated Bobcat girls’ tennis team traveled north yesterday afternoon for a meet against Mason City Riverhawks. In another 11 – 0 sweep, the Bobcats dominate last night and remain undefeated, their record is now 11 – 0. Head Coach John Fiscus says, “It was another great day for the Bobcats as all played well up and down the line-up and the JV played as well. Ellie Hughes and Rachel Jones are dominant at number 4 doubles as they have never lost a match all three years while on the team. Our depth is our strength during the season. It will get tougher when we go down to just six players in regionals.” This victory gives the Bobcats the Iowa Alliance Conference Title for the 2024 season. The Bobcats should find out today where the district tournament will be played
The Bobcat girls golf team still got their round in yesterday at Gates Park in Waterloo. The Bobcats crush Waterloo East 177 – 287. Natalie Henson brought home the victory and teammate Gaby Estabrook was in 2nd. The girls play again on Thursday at the Southeast Polk Invite at Copper Creek Golf Club
