Announced earlier this year Jacque Wyant will be moving from the Marshalltown High School Principal Role to the new HR Director with the Marshalltown Community School District.  Recently the Marshalltown School Board has approved the interim principal and associate principal for the High School.

That is Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Theron Schutte.  He said the current Associate Principal, Michael Dale, is moving on the Newton High School to be their Principal. Dr. Schutte then mentions finalizing other staffing contracts.

New Iowa law says teachers need to be paid a minimum of $50,000 by the 2025 – 2026 school year.  Dr. Schutte says that Marshalltown is positioned to handle that increase.
