Starting yesterday was the Esports Spring State Showdown at the Orpheum Theatre, in downtown Marshalltown.  This is the State Competition for the 3 spring titles played by High School Esports Athletes.  Today the players are playing Valorant, which is described by Iowa High School Esports Association President, Lauren James.

This game is similar to Rainbow 6 Siege which is played in the Fall and Overwatch in the Winter.  Then on Wednesday the players will be playing a very popular game world wide, League of Legends.

All gameplay starts at 9am today and tomorrow at the Orpheum Theatre, the only cost to enter is to find Dylan Does, Marshalltown Chamber of Commerce Tourism Director, and give him a high five.  Gameplay can be watched at the iahsea YouTube page.
