Due to the severe weather in Iowa on Tuesday, many roads have been flooded over. Marshall County Emergency Manager Kim Elder reminds our listeners to not test roads that are covered in water.

Just because the road bed seems safe, doesn’t mean there isn’t damage to the road itself, or even under the road. Kim then goes on to say that she’s received photos showing the aftermath of the severe wind and rain.

Elder then goes on to mention how anyone in need of assistance can get that.

MICA in Marshalltown is the leader on that, so you can give them a call to find out if you are eligible and what they can do for you.
